How to Request a Payoff Statement Online

You can request a payoff statement online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by logging into your account online or via the mobile app. Then, follow these steps:

If you are accessing your account from a web browser:

  1. Select "Loan Information" from the navigation menu
  2. Select "Account Summary" from the drop-down list

    1. You will be navigated to a new page containing all of your account information
  3. Select "Make A Request" from the navigation menu
  4. Select “Submit a Request” in the "Payoff Quote" option
  5. Choose the reason for the payoff request from the drop-down list of choices
  6. Choose a payoff (good-through) date
  7. Click "Submit"

If you are accessing your account from the mobile app:

  1. Select “More” from the bottom navigation menu
  2. Select “Make a Request” from the list of options
  3. Select “Payoff Quote”
  4. Choose the reason for the payoff request from the drop-down list of choices

  6. Click "Submit"

Your statement will include the total amount needed to pay off your loan, as well as details about the unpaid principal balance, accrued interest, the escrow account balance, as well as any outstanding fees and charges.

Please note that a payoff statement fee may be charged to your account, depending on the state in which the subject property is located. Also, please note that the payoff date for FHA loans may prepopulate with the last day of the month. For these loans, you will not be able to select your payoff date.

Where to Find Your Payoff Statement Online

You can follow these steps to view your payoff statement online. Log in to your Freedom Mortgage account. Select "Statement" from the navigation menu. Select "Payoff Request" from the drop-down list. Select the desired payoff statement.

Other Ways to Request a Payoff Statement

You can request a payoff statement by calling our Customer Care representatives at 855-690-5900. We can help you Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM–2 PM, Eastern Time.

You can also fax a request to 877-233-5843 or mail a request to P.O. Box 50485, Indianapolis, IN 46250-0401.

Note that we are not able to send a payoff statement to a third party without your authorization. If the payoff is needed by a third-party, please make sure you include such authorization in your request. You can send your payoff request, along with the authorization, via email to FreedomPayoffRequest@FreedomMortgage.com.

When Do I Need to Cancel My Automatic Payments?

You will need to cancel any automatic payments you've set up within your Freedom Mortgage account, or with any other bill payment service (such as through your bank) to ensure that such payments are not processed after the payoff funds are received. Note that our payment systems typically begin to process automatic payments 72 hours before the scheduled payment date.

This means that if you are planning to pay off your loan before your next monthly mortgage payment is due, you’ll want to cancel your automatic payments at least 72 hours before the scheduled payment date.

If an automatic payment is processed after you pay off your loan, we will help you complete the return payment procedure.

Will You Have an Escrow Account After You Pay Off Your Loan?

No. You will not have a Freedom Mortgage escrow account once you pay off your loan. If we are paying your property taxes and homeowners insurance on your behalf through an escrow account, please contact your local tax authority and insurance company to make sure you or your new lender receives your billing information.

What Happens When You Have Extra Money in Your Escrow Account?

We will return any money you may have left in your escrow account to you, pursuant to applicable law.
